How to Recycle Ink & Toner Cartridges?

· You have to prevent leakage of any leftover ink or toner cartridges by turn the empty ink or toner cartridge back to an original packaging if available, or wrap them with plastic or other covering.

· Contact your local recycling center or service and ask information about what kinds of cartridges which they accept.

· Take ink or toner cartridges back to the company you purchased them from. Most companies will take them back to recycle. As well, some companies will provide you a discount or even payment for returning the cartridges to them.

· Many retailers offer customers pay for old cartridges, so follow the instructions of recycling store staff to return your old ink or toner cartridge for recycling

· Find the organizations which can recycle your old ink or toner cartridges. Some stores or organizations will collect ink or toner cartridges for you directly, however, some of them will provide you a small bag to send your old ink or toner cartridges to companies.

· If you need to send your ink or toner cartridge for recycle trough mail, don’t forget to pack them securely in a box with bubble wrap, newspaper or packing peanuts.
